my inspiration – mirror repeat patterns in nature, patterns in our human soul, heart, spirit –

Fascinated by exploring personal patterns in the story of my life expressed through art. Limor’s Women collections is an introspective and observed exploration of women’s strength and vulnerability in isolation, dream, meditation, partnership, with children, nature, and community. Her “Women with Wings” series was created in part as an exploratory study for her graphics memoir “She Then Painted On Wings” (check on this, chapter or book title?) about an overworked and hard driven single moms fierce dedication to her craft and her equally intense driving passion to provide the best her family in spite of social pressure, sacrifice, and the constant need to redefine her (the) existing circumstances (paradigm).

Her character/brand “Monster Mom” is a parody/irony revealing the shyed away natures – shunned, hidden, and then recovered vulnerable strengths – where wings become metaphor of a fantastic beast turned super heroine. In this work, she elaborates on the extremes of  two decades of a motherhood experience, within shifting family and cultural paradigms, in a quest for healthy, powerful, loving, and life affirming balance.

Limor Farber knew she is an artist since childhood, and has a crazy love for the visual arts, nature, and the power of the human spirit.

Limor has developed a unique method for creative solution finding and has consistently woven beauty with practicality while establishing her design agency and managing a household flowing with kids and art supplies.

As an inspired and compulsive creative, she loves encouraging and empowering people of all ages to explore the joys of creating with their hands, artistic discovery and visual self expression.
